A memorable week with Michael Dukakis Leadership Fellows in Boston

(Boston, September 21-23, 2016) – Four fellows of 2016 Michael Dukakis Leadership Program spent a memorable week in Boston and participated in various meetings and noteworthy activities.

Continuing its tradition, the 2016 Michael Dukakis Leadership Program started vibrant activities to enhance its fellows’ leadership competency and integrity. During the fourth week of September 2016, the MDL Fellows attended the Governor Michael Dukakis’s lecture in his house, as well as meeting and discussing with several high-profile professors/leaders of Boston Global Forum in a conference held at the Harvard University Faculty Club.

In his prestigious lecture, Governor Michael Dukakis, chairman of Boston Global Forum, shared his view on various challenging problems that the world is facing, and encouraged the 2016 Michael Dukakis Leadership Fellows to think about and solve these problems. In addition, Governor related his experience and strategy in leading people to tackle multiple problems during his life as a well-known yet humble leader.

Finally, during a conference organized by the Boston Global Forum on 09/23/2016, the Fellows of Michael Dukakis Leadership Program participated in many discussions with leading pocily makers and professors from Havard, MIT, Brown University, etc. This conference is about Global Citizenship Education in Cyber Civil Defense. Attending this conference is an invaluable experience for the fellows to understand important world problems, to engage in initiating solutions to these problems, and to develop their leadership skill.
